Finished: McCall’s 6168 Cardigan

I have this lovely front drape multicolored cardigan that I wear pretty often in the winter.

View C of McCall’s 6168 is very similar to my multicolored cardigan.  Hooray for finally sewing it up!

Pattern Description:
Cardigans A, B, C have long sleeves, stitched hems and shaped lower edges; cardigan A has front pockets that do not lay flat; cardigans A, B have front button closures; cardigan C has optional button closure, wrong side of fabric will show.
I made view C.

Pattern Sizing:
8-16. I used the 16.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done
sewing with it?

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Um…I didn’t use the instructions.  But when I glanced at the instructions,  they looked straightforward.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like that View C looks like one of my favorite RTW cardigans.  I just wish the ends wrapped all the way around my waist.

Fabric Used:
I used a tissue weight knit from the stash.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
Because I like complicating my life, I flat felled all the seams.  had to widen the sleeves. I also shortened the sleeves to 3/4.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would definitely sew this again. Next time I would add to the tails so I can wrap them as I like.
